Blue Flame Associates Limited was incorporated by Andy Durber and Nick Evans in January 1999 Nick joined British Gas as an apprentice engineer in 1979 closely followed by Andy in 1982. They both gained valuable experience from their time on ‘the tools’ as a gas operatives, Both progressed to hold various positions both technical and in training roles. Nick left British gas in 1989 where he joined Stoke-on-Trent College and Andy remained as training development for British Gas until 1996.
